The implementation of the ‘humanbility’ sustainable initiative is an investment worth as it will enhance human capacity and improve their working conditions through the help of technology. A significant issue present in the implementation of the initiative is the lack of alignment of the operational and financial teams. The project is a large-scale project that requires many teams from all the involved departments. The two teams have divergent priorities, whereby, on many occasions, the operational team has not been involved in the planning, which delays financial decisions among the financial teams.

Addressing the issue requires an integrating system that ensures effective sharing and flow of information in all departments. The team could be dissolved, and one unit formed that will perform all operational and financial tasks or better team management tools such as the RACI matrix chart that will define the responsibilities, accountability, consultation, and advisory roles of each teams and their members. Overall, the ‘humanibility’ initiative is technically, operational, and economically feasible for Verizon Communications (Gregory, 2017). Therefore, undertaking the initiative will not deplete the resources of the company, as the company has adequate resources and finances, and it will yield immense financial benefits than the costs incurred.

The administrative management theory and the use of the RACI matrix are solutions that will increase the efficiency and effective implementation of the initiative. The administrative management theory will enable effective organization of the teams with a clear division of labor and proper delegation of authority (Kreitner, 2014). This will maximize better team management between the organizational and financial teams, and the problem will be solved. Well-managed teams will ensure increased productivity and overall completion of the initiative. The advantage of using the theory is that it is comprehensive as it covers essential aspects that require management in the workplace. It does not only deal with team management but ensures effective management of the entire organization (Kreitner, 2014). On the other hand, the theory has various weaknesses, including human limitations and possible mistakes, since the theory is based on human applications. Moreover, the theory is vulnerable to unintended consequences, which can render the effectiveness of the theory minimal.
