The project is one of the most exciting and informative of all. It prepares you to effectively analyze and develop strategies in all the departments and functions of a company. These departments and functions in the company include the utilization of modern ICT to solve issues, and effective mitigation strategies used to address ethical problems, especially among employees. In addition to the most appropriate management strategies, globalization and expansion strategies, and strategies to enforce teamwork for maximized productivity, among others. So far, the project is halfway completed with adequate analysis and research on Verizon Communications and identified possible issues in the organization. According to the study, Verizon Communications is a famous telecommunication company with exemplary and a wide range of services and products. Besides, it operates globally with a strong brand image and high economies of scale with opportunities for expansion and business diversification (Reuters, 2019). Some of the issues identified ineffective pricing strategy hence reduced competitive advantage, natural disasters that damage its infrastructure, security, and network issues.

Compiling this project has been both easy and challenging. The most challenging component was deciding on the most appropriate and effective solutions to the identified issues in the company. Alternative were many and seemed appropriate; however, deciding on the most effective solution was challenging as some solutions challenged my ethical aspect and corporate responsibility. While addressing this challenge, I decided to seek better decision-making tools and models. I settled for the DECIDE decision-making model that involves defining the issue, establishing criteria, considering possible alternatives, identifying the most appropriate choice that meets the requirements (Guo, 2008).
