The achievement of high success goes hand in hand with effective and focused strategies, enhanced utilization of power, and efficient choice of leadership approach. The strategy outlines the key direction and steps in which the organization is bound to apply towards a target objective (Brinkschroder 2014). The strategies create a path in which the objectives can be attained in short and long terms. The power impacts on success through influencing and directing the organizations towards the set objective. Leaders need to have the power to induce positive influence within the organization. Power is fundamental as it impacts on developing a strong organizational culture with key attributes essential to the success of its pursuits (Azhar et al. 2013). Leadership has enormous significance and impact on the success of the organization. Through an efficient leader – vision, objective, and long-term plans can be executed. Thus, cumulatively impacted on the success of the simulation and initiative implementation.

How Strategy, Power, and Leadership Impact the Success or Failure of Change

Change is a significant component of an organization. The strategy, power, and leadership impact profound on the success or failure of change. The strategy played a role in devising a crucial initiative that has enormous significance to the organization. The employees to believe in a long-term vision through the strategies utilized proved to be important in the realization of competitive advantage. Also, positioning the organization as a major player in the industry through pioneer flagship initiatives is essential to the success of change implementation (Jaggars & Jones 2018). The power played a role in influencing the employees towards accepting the proposed changes. This was essential in eliminating employee turnover and resistance toward the change process. Through the utilization of effective leadership – approaches such as agile project implementation impacted profoundly to the success of the change. This is based on the positive value and utilization of employee strengths (Jaggars & Jones 2018).

How Change Impacts Decision-Making

The realization of change impacts on decision-making from different phases of the implementation. The changes in the first step were adjusted as the implementation process proceeded. This was fundamental to ensure that the intended objectives were met in the simulation. The change requires precise and concise decision-making to remain on budget and time schedule (Rajasekar 2014).

Improvement of Performance

To improve the performance of the simulation, I choose to make adjustments essential to thwart potential employee resistance and the adoption of friendly policies. Also, the performance was improved through the inclusion of the employees in making a contribution to the change process. This proved to be significant in motivating the employees as owners of the change and not something forcing them by force. To accept and own the change, the inclusion of key stakeholders is crucial to the realization of the set objectives. Thus, the improvement of performance was continuously enhanced through essential adjustments to the strategy and implementation process.

Conclusions Based on the Simulation Experience

In conclusion, the simulation outlines key lessons to learn about the adoption and implementation of change. These revolve enhancing employee capacity, communication, and inclusion in key decision making. As well, leadership is primary to the success of the change process. Thus, the transition to the real-life scenario, I understood the key aspects to consider and emphasize to ascertain the success of the change process.
