Case Analysis (APA Format)
Topic: Part I. Review the exercise on p.126 entitled “Miss Teen USA, Ms. South Carolina, (2007)”. Respond to the three questions posited on p. 127.
Topic Part II: Assess your communication effectiveness. Where could you use improvement in your communication? What role do your perceptions play into your communication process? Discuss how your reactions and thoughts may distort successful communication. What areas of communication are you strongest in, which are you weakest in. What can you do to improve your communication skills.
Process: Your case analysis should consist of a minimum of four pages, excluding the title page and reference page, and must be posted in the Week 1 Case Analysis dropbox by Sunday midnight PT. Integrate at least five scholarly articles/sources (in addition to citing your textbook) as part of your essay. This is a research paper, do not use Wikipedia. Be sure to cite your sources on the Reference page at the end of your paper and use APA formatting throughout (see APA Guide, 6th Edition). I personally believe that US Americans are unable to do so because , uh, some…people out there in our nation dont have maps and uh, I believe that our, uh, education like such as in South Africa and, uh, Iraq, everywhere lilke such as, and I believe that they should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and Asian countries, so we will be able to build up our future for our children.
The three questions that would need to be addressed would be How would you characterize Miss South Carolina’s communication competence? what recommendations would you offer Miss South Carolina for improving her message semantics? Try your hand at crafting a more effective response that illustrates your knowledge of the content from this chapter.
